My Journey: From Stylist to Educator & Entrepreneur
Like many in the hair and beauty industry, I started by working with clients one-on-one. I loved the industry, but I quickly realised that I was trading time for money—and that there was a bigger opportunity waiting for me. That’s when I made the bold decision to step into education.
I launched Ashley Jade Vocational College, providing high-quality training for future hair and beauty professionals, and alternative provision for learners who were struggling to engage in education due to social, emotional and mental health. The demand for education kept growing, and I saw an opportunity to help others open their own training academies. By expanding into online education with Ashley Jade Ltd, I was able to scale my income, impact more people, and build a business that worked for me—not the other way around.
Now, besides owning my own Hair and Beauty college, I teach hair, beauty and aesthetic professionals and aspiring educators how to do the same—helping them get certified, launch their own training academies, and achieve financial independence.
